Jaleh Sherbini: Dr. Jaleh Sherbini is Professor of Political Science, Islamic, and Middle East Studies at Oakton Community College. In addition to teaching, professor Sherbini has developed a number of field study courses/trips to Egypt and Turkey. She is a strong advocate for international education through travel and its positive impact in cultivating global citizens. Dr. Sherbini is originally from Egypt, has a Masters degree in International Relations/Public Policy, and a Doctorate in Higher Education. She resides with her husband and four children in Chicago. Her blog is intended to spark interesting and respectful debate, as well as a platform for diverse perspectives (discussion and discourse) on a wide range of topics; leading to a better understanding of the world.
